I've been working on the changes. It's taking me some time because I have to move and rename files and then change the html code for each video. I've finished everything back through our August 18th, 2007 wedding. I'll work a little bit on it everyday until it's finished. If your video isn't working, just give me some time and I'll get to it eventually!

Still not working......

The majority of our video links are still not working correctly. I am in the process of removing the pictures because for some reason, that seems to be the issue. I hate not having the pictures in the posts to click on, but it's more important for you to be able to see the video......right?!? I've already started with the newest videos first. This process will take some time, so I sincerely appreciate your patience.

Stayce & Jay 3.15.08

Well, we got to use our new cameras for the first time on Saturday……and we are both so excited about our new look! And after having 3 months off, we were so glad to be back at work.

We had so much fun with Stayce and Jay! We were priviledged to work with our great friend Rich! It was just an awesome day! (I know……you’re thinking……this crazy chick is going a little over the top, but seriously…..we had a BLAST!)

It was our first time at College Park Church and we would shoot there every weekend if we could. The staff at the church was very friendly and extremely accommodating to us.

Stayce and Jay used Antique Limo of Indy for their get-away car. We had some great shots of them with the car. And we love the “drive away” shot!

The reception was at the Marriott North. This was probably the first time that we didn’t get a chance to arrive there early enough to get cocktail hour shots and all of the details that we normally like to shoot. The staff did an EXCELLENT job! Probably the best service that we’ve ever had there (and it’s never been bad…..it was just above and beyond).

Classic Cakes of Carmel (my all time favorite cakes) did an awesome job on the cake. It was a raspberry cake and in Brandon’s words, “it was probably the best cake I’ve ever had.”

Rob Gaskill of DJ Master Mix from Columbus really catered to the crowd by playing all types of music from Hannah Montana for the little girls to Soulja Boy for Stayce and Jay and all of their friends.

And just to let you know that I’m not exaggerating, here are a few highlights from Stayce & Jay’s wedding this past weekend. This has GOT to be a record for editing time (and no the entire thing isn’t done, but Brandon has spent the past two days working on this)! We’ll add more as we get them finished.

We are pleased to announce that we will be shooting our weddings in 2008 with HD(high definition) cameras! Our plan is to shoot with the HD cameras and down convert to SD(standard definition) to deliver to DVD's that will play in any DVD player. In the near future, we will be offering a complete HD Package that will be playable on Blu-ray Players. We will keep you posted!

Happy Valentine's Day!

It's hard to believe that 7 years ago today Brandon asked me to marry him. It seems like only yesterday. His original plan to get down on one knee in the Olive Garden parking lot (same place we first met) was nixed because of rain, so instead, he asked me while we were sitting inside of the car in the Olive Garden parking lot.
Today, we are planning to celebrate Valentine's Day with a "no work" day. We're going to have a nice lunch at the Cheesecake Factory and then go see a chick flick. I'm not sure yet what we'll see......there are a few that I wouldn't mind seeing right now......which is very different from past Valentine's Days. It seems like there is NEVER a good chick flick to see on Valentine's Day........something I never understood.......but this year, there are too many to choose from!

Jennifer & Aaron 12.15.07

Jennifer wanted snow on her Wedding Day. Well, she got just what she wanted.....and then some! When the weatherman said that we were expecting a BLIZZARD, I was seriously concerned thinking......"what if it's just us, Jennifer and Aaron at the church today?" I guess that is when the video would REALLY come in handy! Jennifer and Aaron just took what the day gave them. A large majority of their guests were still able to make it in spite of the snow, and by the time the ceremony was over, the snow had stopped and we got to take some fun shots in the snow.
After the ceremony and photos at St. Jude Catholic Church, we headed to the circle for some pictures in the snow. Even though we were freezing, we were still having fun......especially when the snowballs started flying! Brandon was sitting in the truck (since it was a No Parking zone) while we were having fun and he heard WIBC talking about the wedding party on the circle having a fun snowball fight.
After we dusted off the snow, we loaded up and headed to the Omni (I know....we're there a lot.....but we love it!) where we were greeted by heat, coffee and hot chocolate (and Amanda too of course). The room was gorgeous with Christmas trees and greenery......I love Christmas time! Scott Baker of Ultimate Entertainment kept the evenings festivities going and the dance floor full. At the end of the night.....he even gave us a traffic/weather report! (for those of you who don't know........he does the traffic reports for several locals radio stations)
By the end of the night, we also made a couple of new friends. It was our first time working with Melody and Jeremy Carpenter of Carpenter Photography and Design. I wish you guys the best of luck with the new baby!

Melissa & Don 12.08.07

Melissa is a girl after my own heart. She loves Christmas, so a Christmas wedding is very fitting. In fact, Melissa and Don's wedding included a lot personal touches here and there. The church, Irvington Presbyterian Church is where many marriages in Melissa's family have started. The church was decorated with poinsettias and garland, and the reception was decorated with a couple of Christmas trees.....such a Christmassy (is that a word) feel to the day. I loved it!
After their first meeting of the day at the Marriott East, they were whisked away in a '53 Rolls Royce to the circle for some pictures with SB Childs Photography before heading to the church. After the ceremony, we headed to the reception. After dinner, I watched many family members and friends get teary-eyed as they watched Melissa and Don growing up in their photo montage. After the toasts, and some sweet words from Don to Melissa, the guests enjoyed the open dance floor and the music played by DJ Brian Jones of IndySounds.

Susie & Mike 11.17.07

Susie and Mike had a gorgeous wedding at the Indiana Roof Ballroom. It is such a beautiful venue with a lot of history.

We started our day at the Conrad for hair and makeup before heading up the block for pictures. Susie was absolutely stunning! Her eyes sparkle every time she laughs (which is a lot). She really knows how to work the camera and had a lot of fun with her pictures.

Susie loves fashion and her Wedding Day reflected her stylish fashion sense. The ceremony was set up like a runway with a center aisle and all of the guests facing toward the aisle (you can get a better idea of what I'm describing by watching the Opening Highlights video). Susie even had her bridesmaids practicing their runway model poses before the ceremony.

We were privileged once again to work with our great friends, photographers Jessica and Mark Strickland.
